Gerald Wallace
Former Childersburg High School star and Sylacauga, AL native Gerald Wallace has the Charlotte Bobcats on a roll. The 6'7' small forward is 3rd in the NBA averaging 11.8 rebounds per game as the Bobcats have reeled off four straight wins. Wallace is benefiting from the addition of Stephen Jackson and is now averaging 15.9 ppg. During the streak Wallace twice had games of 31 points with one of the efforts coming against Cleveland. He beat Lebron James repeatedly during one on one match-ups in that game including a thunderous dunk on the NBA star. Wallace has six straight double doubles, and leads all NBA small forwards on the young season with nine.
